Here’s a look at some of the many amazing facts associated with this massive vessel. In the first year of service alone:

- Carnival Splendor's photographers will snap more than 1.5 million digital images and portraits.

- Guests will devour 200,000 Chocolate Melting Cakes, along with 286,000 pizzas and 120,000 cappuccinos.

- Carnival Splendor will visit 61 ports of call in 29 countries across three continents.

- Approximately 22,000 meals will be served in the elegant reservations-only supper club, The Pinnacle.

- Chefs in the vessel's galley will use of nearly 18,000 pounds of flour.

- Nearly 90 metric tons of pineapples will be consumed, mostly in frothy tropical drinks!
